A charming oil-on-canvas of a man from the reign of Louis XVIII (1815-24). On the reverse, the following inscription can be found: ""Erra, Pinxit” (“Painted by Erra”) and date of March 12, 1822.
The canvas is in a condition typical for its age. The frame, judging from its style (note rounded corners) dates from the Louis Philippe Era of 1830-1848.
